Dolphins

Dolphins in Kees Bayou hunting for breakfast.
They would not stop long enough to pose for me.
Hungry I guess!

Makes Me Smile

It's a bit cloudy/drizzly here today but these are still making me smile everytime I walk past them.
(And the lily smells fantastic)

River Otter near Good Haven House

Yesterday, Peter and I were coming over the causeway on the way home from walking Sophie, and a river otter ran across the road about 15 feet in front of us on the way from the bay to the bayou. We were so surprised. I didn't even know there were otters in our neck of the woods! Very exciting, had to share.

See you at the beach,
Susan

Diamond Days

A friend told me that his father used to call days like today (52 degrees, not a cloud in the sky with a bit of a breeze) diamond days because the wind ruffling up the water made it sparkle like diamonds.
I just love that.

The beach is good even on 'diamond days'.
